How does it work?
The course is split into three units. Candidates can chose to do individual modules 1 and 2 without having to commit to the whole course. All three modules are required to obtain the FA Youth Award
What are the Units?
Unit 1: Developing the Environment (not assessed)
Unit 2: 5-11yrs Talented (assessed)
Unit 3: 5-20yrs Broad Concepts (assessed)
Do I need a Level 2 CCF to do units 1 and 2?
No.
The pre requisites are sighted further down. Units 1 and 2 have been designed for coaches who are working within the 5-11 age range who have no desire to do a Level 2 CCF.
Tell me more about Unit 1?
A four day course aimed at those working with 5-11 year old players who want to further their knowledge and understanding. A course which encompasses a variety of theoretical and practical tasks around the learning processes involved when coaching 5-11 year old players.
