He said:
"The referees course was nothing like I expected it to be. I thought it would be old school stuff and outdated, but nothing could be further from the truth. The truth is we need referees and people should not be put off by other people's stories before the course. The course itself was excellent for the following reasons:
- Good Course Content
- Very good tutors delivering the course with excellent banter going on and interaction between all.
- The course itself is up to date with debate about recent games
- The Laws of the Game were different than I thought. We have played football and coached in the game but some of the Laws you thought you knew you did not, and it was good to understand them properly.
- The best thing about the course was that you actually got to referee during the course.
I would personally recommend the course to anyone who is interested.
