Individual candidates wishing to enrol on Coach Education courses (for example Safeguarding Children, CRB checks, Emergency Aid, Level 1, Level 2 Level 3 etc) will be required to pay their own course fee when they apply for the course.It will then be the candidate’s individual responsibility to contact their club to receive club contribution or reimbursement of their course fees on completion of the course.
We have made this decision following consultation with a number of clubs who are identified by candidates as their fee payer, and following invoice, we are then informed that the candidate has left the club. This subsequently puts the County FA in a very difficult position when attempting to recover outstanding course fees from candidates.
This does not affect clubs enrolling a number of candidates upon courses, should all candidates be named at the time of application. Individual applications/reservation of course places will no longer be accepted for any course without full payment and a completed application form.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause individual candidates, but given the number of outstanding invoices we are left with no alternative.
