Disability Football

Disability football is a key priority for Northumberland FA and we strive to provide football opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.

Northumberland FA, in conjunction with the Newcastle United Foundation, aims to organise, develop and support a wide range of opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to participate within football and provide support to clubs, players, coaches and volunteers through:

- Club and League Development

- Volunteering Opportunities

- Schools Football Festivals

- After School Clubs

- The FA People’s Cup

- North East Inclusion League

- FA England Talent Pathway

In Northumberland, there has been a growth in disability football in both schools and clubs. Examples of disability football initiatives running throughout the county include; Schools Football Coaching, After School Clubs, Talent Identification Programme (TIPs) and FA Partially Sighted and Deaf Regional Talent Centre.
