Alex Storey and Jack Whitfield have both been selected to take part in this initiative, which is part of the latest FA National Referee Strategy, after attending the Regional Training Assessment evening.

The CORE programme has a focus on developing referees with both excellent on-field technical performance and off-field behaviours and attitudes. 

Match officials are then developed through a pyramid as they develop their experience.
