CEO Column: Have Your Say

Now is the time to have your say on grassroots football in Northumberland, as the 2017 Grassroots Football Survey is officially launched.

We’re always looking to improve grassroots football across our county, and key to those improvements is the way we listen to those involved in the heart of it. That’s the players, coaches, referees, volunteers, parents and staff members who give up so much of their time to contribute to the game on a weekly basis.

So, what would you change about your weekly grassroots football experience? Now is the time to have your say by completing the survey below. The more surveys completed the better insight we have, so I strongly urge you to share the link between your friends and family as well. Thank you in advance for your invaluable contributions.

Next I’d like to draw your attention to a fantastic opportunity we currently have available at the County FA. We’re recruiting a Football Operations Administrator to manage the reception at Whitley Park and organise pitch and facility bookings. This role is for maternity cover and all applications must be sent to Andrew.Cook@NorthumberlandFA.com before Monday 23 October. Please click here for further information.

We’ve recently announced details of a Machinery Usage and Maintenance Pitch Improvement Workshop, which is set to take place at Whitley Park on Tuesday 14 November. This workshop is perfect for current groundsmen or general volunteers who wish to learn more about pitch maintenance, so please do click here and book your place before spaces run out.

We’re entering a very busy period here at Northumberland FA, with lots of new opportunities becoming available to those within the county. Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages to ensure you don’t miss out on an opportunity that’s right for you.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

John.
