Northumberland FA is pleased to announce that Close House Golf Club will be hosting its charity golf day on Wednesday 17 October to help raise money for North East Hearts with Goals.
Sponsored by Northumberland FA partners Bespoke Utility, the day will begin with breakfast before players tee-off (shotgun start) on the 6,000-yard, par 70 Lee Westwood Filly Course, which has previously held high-profile PGA (Professional Golfers’ Association) events.
A ‘longest drive’ and a ‘hole in one’ challenge will be in place, with a brand-new set of PING golf clubs up for grabs, before attendees can enjoy dinner in the afternoon alongside a silent auction.
The competition entry fee, which includes breakfast, 18 holes of golf, competition entry and dinner, is priced at £80 per person or £300 per four-ball.
All proceeds from the day will go towards North East Hearts with Goals and to grassroots football development.
