Disciplinary Commission - 1st November

Please see below the results from the disciplinary commission on 1 November 2018 overseen by F Scantlebury (Chair), W Holmes and B Gregory (Independent Members).

Paul Burke

E3(c) Improper Conduct against a Match Official (Including abusive language/behaviour)

After reading all evidence provided and after hearing the mitigating circumstances provided by the individual and Club Welfare Officer present on the day; the commission agreed there was insufficient evidence to substantiate the charge.

Sanction: Not Proven.

 

Mark Rooke

E3(d) Improper Conduct (not including threatening and/or abusive language/behaviour)

The commission read all evidence provided including but not limited to the referee’s report, original complaint and witness statements. Upon review of everything submitted the commission agreed there was insufficient evidence to substantiate a charge.

Sanction: Not Proven.

 

Colin McKenzie

E3(f) Improper Conduct (including threatening and/or abusive language/behaviour)

The commission reviewed the match officials report and decided to allocate the maximum sanction due to Mr McKenzie’s threatening behaviour towards the match official. The behaviour happened on numerous occasions and caused the game to be abandoned.

Sanction: Guilty - 112 day suspension from all football and £100 fine (Non Personal).
