Northumberland to face North Riding

Dan Simmonite

The Northumberland FA U18 representative side travel to North Riding FA tomorrow for their penultimate league match.

Broughton Road will host the two sides who are separated by a single point in the Association of Northern Counties East Division after three league games.

But Northumberland will go into the fixture confident of keeping up their unbeaten record as they sit in second with a chance reaching top spot with a win.

On the other hand North Riding have endured a 6-0 loss to Durham FA in between edging two close encounters with West Riding and Sheffield & Hallamshire’s representative sides.

Elsewhere in the division Durham will host West Riding in a top against bottom clash which could secure the Chester-le-Street side’s qualification to the next stage should they get three points.

Tomorrow’s fixture will kick off at the earlier time of 1:30pm with admission TBD by North Riding FA.

The Northumberland FA U18 squad is as follows: Liam Renwick (Shankhouse), Josh Wilson (Newcastle East End), Thomas Kalthoeber (Whitley Bay), Robbie Christie (New Hartley), Michael Woods (New Hartley), Oliver Symons (Gateshead ‘A’), Will Jenkins (New Hartley), Aaron Lough (Whitley Bay), Paul Van (North Shields Athletic), Sam Dibb-Fuller (Prudhoe Y.C.), Adam Beattie (Whitley Bay), Josh Skivington (North Shields), Jamie Clark (Tyne Met. College), Joe Walker (Newcastle City Juniors), Louis Calvert (Newcastle City Juniors), Adam Onarbay (New Hartley)
