 From Level 7 to Level 6

Referee Development Officer, Kevin Azzopardi said: “Promotions at this level are very significant. For any referee to reach to the top, these are the initial steps and hence all eight promotions are certainly a reward for the hard work put in during the season whilst the same officials aspire to reach even higher”.

These promotions bring to an end the Referee Promotion scheme for season 2019/20 following the previous announcements that saw Adam Nichol and Darren Williams appointed as Select Panel Assistants and Kirk Freeth and Zac Kennard-Kettle promoted to Level 3.

Cameron Atkins, Kieron Smith, Daniel Taylor and Nick Vincent have been promoted to Level 4.

“It has certainly been a great finish to the season for all of these individuals. Now our efforts must already be focused on the season ahead. In fact, technical development sessions have already started through the launch of a series of 15 webinars each dealing with different topics.” concluded Kevin.
