Euro Festival

We've celebrated the England Women's historic win

Over 120 girls joined us for 3v3 Wildcats festivals this summer

We recently celebrated England's historic Women’s European Championships 2022 win by holding our own Wildcats EURO 3v3 Festivals in July and August.

The two festivals brought together Weetabix Wildcats providers from around our county to Whitley Park to celebrate the EURO’s and ultimately celebrate the hard work produced all year round by local grassroots clubs, and none more so than those delivering the FA 5-11 years programme.

We were joined by the following clubs across the two festivals; Bedlington FC, Boldan CA, Cramlington United, Hat-Trick, North Shields Juniors, Ponteland United, Westerhope United, Whitley Bay Sporting Club and Wideopen Juniors.

  • 120 girls attended both festivals in total
  • 9 different Wildcats providers attended across both festivals
  • 8 Local female coaches supported both festivals
  • 6 Newcastle United Women players attended
