Northumberland FA launches partnership with RecordMy

Link up will help share safeguarding best practice

Northumberland FA has entered into a partnership with safeguarding software provider RecordMy which will help us to monitor welfare issues and share safeguarding best practice.

RecordMy’s software allows organisations to record safeguarding and welfare concerns, incidents and allegations. It will allow Northumberland FA to also track trends regarding clubs and individuals, allowing us to identify areas of concern and allowing early intervention if required.

Northumberland FA will also partner with RecordMy to promote the software to other county FAs and clubs, providing case studies and support for other organisations which sign up.

Dean Buckle, NFA’s Head of Compliance and Inclusion, said: “Our recent successful safeguarding audit praised our adoption of the RecordMy system. It has improved our ability to record cases and respond to concerns – helping to keep football safe for everyone.

“We would be pleased to advise any clubs, county FAs or other organisations about our experience of the system.

“We’re also delighted that RecordMy has agreed to sponsor our Safeguarding Club of the Year Award at our annual Grassroots Awards and we’d like to thank them for their support of this vital area of our work.”

Liam Harrison from RecordMy added: “We’re delighted to welcome on board Northumberland FA. We already work extensively with schools and charities and this partnership will help us expend our innovative software into new areas.”
