If U Care Share

Local suicide prevention charity If U Care Share Foundation is urging clubs in Northumberland to get behind its latest campaign, Inside Out, to...
Inside Out is a national campaign, launched in 2014, which seeks to raise awareness of the importance of talking by bringing what is on the inside, out.

Taking place on Sunday 10 September to coincide with Worldwide Suicide Prevention Day, the Inside Out campaign asks clubs to wear ‘Ask Me Why’ stickers on their kits before posting an image on social media with the hashtag #AskMeWhy.

The Foundation believe that this will encourage people to talk about their feelings, which will in turn help break the taboo around mental health and ultimately save lives.

Should your club wish to take part, please CLICK HERE to register. Once your registration has been submitted you’ll be sent your free ‘Ask Me Why’ stickers.

Please note: Saturday teams are asked to take part on Saturday 9 September.

Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50 in this country. Every 40 seconds, someone dies by suicide worldwide. To read more about If U Care Share Foundation’s work, please click here. To contact the Foundation directly, please email share@ifucareshare.co.uk or call 0191 387 5661.
