Northumberland FA is delighted to announce that its Referee Centre of Excellence will continue into the 2018/19 season with the addition of a new Referee Development Group.

The aim of these groups is to offer officials who have the potential, commitment, self-drive and ambition to reach level 4 the opportunity to obtain the knowledge and experience that, alongside their own hard work, will help them move forward with their refereeing career. 

During the 2017/18 season the group benefited from several in-house training days, covering a wide range of topics and activities from our experienced group of coaches and guests, as well as one-on-one coaching from their appointed coach. This has increased their knowledge and understanding of the requirements to progress as referees.

Anyone interested in joining should fill in the application form and return it to referee@northumberlandfa.com by Friday 2 March 2018. Applications received after this date will not be considered. There is no age limit to the group.

All Centre of Excellence members for 2017/18 season must re-apply if they wish to be considered as part of group for 2018/19 season.
