The next two Association of Northern Counties East Division fixtures for the Northumberland FA U18 representative side have been confirmed.

• Linconshire FA (H) – Saturday 24^th November 2018 – 2PM K.O. (Woodhorn Lane, Ashington)
• West Riding FA (H) - Saturday 15^th December 2018 – 2PM K.O. (Whitley Park)

Due to the NFA’s normal location being in use by Newcastle United, the youth team will host Lincolnshire FA next week at Woodhorn Lane – home of Northern League side Ashington.

The following fixture in December will be played back at the Northumberland FA headquarters, Whitley Park as normal.

Admission prices for both games are TBC and will be announced via our social media channels.

Speaking on the two fixtures; youth team manager, Kane Wears said: “I still stick by the fact I think we have one of the best squads in the country and that will show this season.

“After going out of the cup we do not want that same losing feeling again – I’m confident that we will push on and win the league this season.”

Wears’ side have had a mixed start to the season, winning their opening game 4-1 in Sheffield, but crashing out of the FA County Youth Cup at the first attempt with a 3-0 home loss to Nottinghamshire FA.

The team currently sit 2^nd in their respective division, behind on goal difference to local rivals Durham FA - who won 6-0 in their opening game of the season.
