Workforce Changes at Northumberland FA
We at Northumberland FA would like to update our stakeholders on important changes behind the scenes at the organisation.
Referee Development Officer (RDO)
We have recently been interviewing for a new Referee Development Officer (RDO) and are now pleased to announce that Adam Nichol was successful with his application and will take up the role on Monday 15th July 2019.
Adam can be contacted by email on Adam.Nichol@northumberlandfa.com or by phone 0191 2700 700 (option 4). He will join the ‘Football Quality Unit’ which currently consists of Phil Robinson (Head of Football Quality) and Scott Flynn (Facilities Development Officer).
County Youth Team Manager
We are in the final stages of appointing a new County Youth Team Manager and a decision will be made by Thursday 11th July 2019. An official announcement will be made when the position is filled.
Workforce Changes
We have recently went out to advert for a Designated Safeguarding Officer (Head of Compliance), and with applications closing yesterday we are now in the shortlisting stage and hope to have someone in post as soon as possible. Elsewhere, Football Development Officer (Disability), Mark Daglish, has returned to the Newcastle United Foundation on a full time basis with immediate effect and Dan Simmonite will be leaving as Marketing & Communications Officer on 6 August 2019 after accepting a full time position with York City Football Club. Ian Skinner will also be leaving to take up a new role with Monkseaton Academy. We would like to thank them all for their commitment to the County.
