Qualifications Guidance 2020 2021
Please find below guidance on qualifications required for the forthcoming season for coaches, committee members and referees.
The guidance reflects the challenges that Covid-19 has thrown at us, while also addressing safeguarding concerns.
You will see that the qualifications outline two scenarios – Best Practice and Current Minimum Requirements. While we would urge you to always ensure individuals meet the Best Practice standards where possible, we recognise that due to the unique challenges we currently face, this will sometimes not be possible. For this reason we have introduced the Minimum Requirements as outlined.
Individuals who do not satisfy at least the minimum requirements will be unable to participate in their role. This guidance will remain in place until at least 28 February 2021, however Northumberland FA will inform you of any changes to requirements.
