Congratulations to the winners of this year's Grassroots Awards. Despite the impact of Covid on the grassroots game over the past season, we had more entries than ever and the judging panel had a difficult task to decide on the winners from a very strong field of nominees.

 The winners are:

 Adult Coach of the Year - Jack Gray, Cramlington United

Youth Coach of the Year - Yannick Aziakonou, Wideopen FC

Volunteer of the Year - John Sullivan, Newcastle Westgate Juniors

Club of the Year - Cramlington United

League of the Year - Northumberland Football Leagues (The league also won the national prize in this category)

Grounds Team of the Year - Harry Hind and Ian Dobie, West Moor Junior

Project of the Year - Wideopen Wild Cats

Match Official of the Year - Keith Scoffham

Spirit of Grassroots Football  - David Jones
