The course will commence on Monday 4th July at the Northumberland FA’s Whitley Park base.
The Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football is the first step towards becoming a recognised football coach. Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will become qualified assistant club coaches, enabling them to work alongside a qualified Level 2 coach.
Level 1 provides candidates with an opportunity to study and be assessed through both theoretical and practical aspects of coaching football at this level.
In total, the Female Only Level 1 course runs over five days, with the dates as follows:
Theory/Practical
Monday 4th July (9:00am - 5:00pm)
Tuesday 5th July (9:00am - 5:00pm)
Wednesday 6th July (9:00am - 5:00pm)
Thursday 7th July (9:00am - 5:00pm)
Final Assessment
Friday 8th July (9:00am - 5:00pm)

Who Should Enrol?
This course is perfect for any female over the age of 16-years-of-age, with regular practical experience of participation in football, who is looking for an introduction to the vocational area of coaching association football.
What Are the Entry Requirements?
Candidates are required to have an interest in developing the skills of young people.
Cost
This course costs £150; however, if you are a coach at a Northumberland FA Charter Standard club, the cost is £140.
